S.C.G. stands for Salt City Grillz, the business I created in 2016 that specializes in custom-made mouth jewelry (Grillz) and accessories. One day, a customer came into the boutique—a gentleman missing several teeth. He was looking for a temporary solution until he could save enough for a dental procedure. Low in spirit and self-conscious, he spoke with his head down and his mouth covered.

Five days later, he returned, snapped in his Grillz, and looked in the mirror. Instantly, his self-confidence was renewed. The joy and happiness on his face were unmistakable, and he couldn’t stop smiling. I began to notice that this gleeful transformation was common among all my customers. It was as if they radiated a newfound shine. Even those with perfect teeth who simply wanted Grillz left the boutique with a joyful energy that extended beyond their physical presence.
